Are you stuck in a boring gym routine? Need some goals to make things interesting again? Writing goals down on paper allow you to create an avenue to success. Who or where you would like to be in the future. The world is always moving forward. If you stand still, you will soon be left behind. So grab a pen, a piece of paper, and if you need motivation, a personal trainer, and set your goal and then lay out a plan to get there. Once you lay out a plan,,,,,,stick to it!
My workout routine was getting a little dull, so I grabbed my personal trainer and laid out a plan. My goal: to surpass my 1 rep max for my back squat (165lbs), Deadlift (200lbs), Bench Press (105lbs). It is a 14 week plan, yes 14 weeks. I start at 60% of my 1 max rep goal for week 1, 65% for week 2, 70% for week 3 and so on and so forth for 7 weeks and it rotates over again the next 7 weeks until 14 weeks are over. Other exercises are also done in this time that helps to build the strength needed for each lift. In the meantime, food is really an issue for me! I have to eat more than usual calorie wise, in order to build more muscle rather than burn the muscle I have out.
After I hit the 14 week mark and my goal of increasing my 1 rep max in the above exercises, I will then clean up the diet with my SLENDERIIZ 28 day weight-loss program that will enable me to get ripped up and still maintain my muscle and strength. All set for my trip to Sarasota in November!
Ok, what's your goals. If you don't have any goals to work for, you will end up just were you are now, or worse. Remember, the world keeps moving forward, if you stand still, you will fall behind, be less fit and less happy. Create goals and move forward.
